Ever since I can remember I loved popular culture of all kinds – particularly TV, music, movies, sports – and I’ve always been fascinated by the impact popular culture has had on people. I am also a passionate believer in the power of people to drive change when their passions and abilities are combined and focussed.
Whether through good fortune or design, I have worked mainly in the worlds of popular culture with businesses and people in the fields of TV entertainment, film, publishing, social media, marketing and sports.
Over a 30 year professional career across multiple disciplines and businesses, I have built a clear understanding of how businesses work through their core aims (the Why), their management, culture and strategies (the How), and their products, services and operations (the What).
My experience covers a broad range of disciplines, employers and partners including global media businesses, major professional firms, SMEs and start-ups. Businesses I have worked for, or with, include: FremantleMedia, PwC, BBC, ITV, Bertelsmann, RTL Group, Channel 4, Pearson plc, Cable & Wireless, BT, Marks & Spencer, Digital Animal, The Life Design Foundation, and Jamie Oliver.
I am now committed to helping and inspiring others achieve their goals and ambitions by passing on the wisdom, experience, skills and knowledge that I have gained from my career to date. I do this mainly through coaching, advising, consulting, partnering, writing and speaking,
